Horrible service, they make you give up your photo ID to get a hand cart. They are only open until 5pm, the unit is had had holes in the wall where people could reach into my unit and grab stuff out from the unit next to me, the staff here are rude and extremely lazy, they charge way way too much. Go store it is was nicer and convenient and way cheaper but way nicer. DO NOT RENT AT PUBLIC STORAGE Huge upset the bathrooms are always locked here too and no water fountain. ... Read more

Found unit broken into today:(. They didn’t even cut the lock. It appears like they just forced the door and the pin passed it locking point. This was an indoor unit on the second floor passed locked entry gates… Also if your a new renter to public storage and are getting a lower intro rate expect an increase to your monthly rate of at least 40-80$ within the first 3-4 months. ... Reposting because I mistakenly shared for the WRONG location. This review is meant for Jonathan, the property manager at the Glendale location in Echo Park! Jonathan was/is an absolute SUPERSTAR. I am so grateful to have what would have been a super stressful situation turn into one that was handled with so much ease! His warm, friendly and empathetic personality made me feel confident in maintaining my relationship with Public Storage! Very pleased with my services thus far and it’s really all to do with the really great staff on hand working here that keeps me from going any where else. Thank you again so much Jonathan, you made my day! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 1712 Glendale Blvd include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 1712 Glendale Blvd start from $139 and can go up to $444 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
