I have been renting a storage unit from Tri City Self Storage in Loomis for several years. The facilities are reasonably priced, clean and secure. A personal gate code is required for entry and departure as each individual unit is equipped with an alarm system that will sound if you fail to enter your code at the gate. This is the only storage facility I have come across with this extra added security. Additionally insurance is available for extra peace of mind. The management has been extremely helpful and after experiencing some financial hardships recently, their level of kindness and understanding was a most welcome surprise. I've rented storage spaces in the past but I can honestly say I would never have recommended any of them to anyone--until now that is. I can wholeheartedly stand behind my recommendation when it comes to doing business with Tri City Self Storage and I am proud to do so. ... Read more

Amazing experience with TriCity Self Storage! I called in on MLK day - a federal holiday - hoping they'd be open. And Sean helped me remotely to get set up and get access to a new unit, worked with me to provide me with a very good deal, and went the extra mile to secure me a unit adjacent to my wife's unit all in a matter of minutes. Would absolutely recommend. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Tri-City Self Storage - 3414 Swetzer Road include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Tri-City Self Storage - 3414 Swetzer Road start from $29 and can go up to $339 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
