After missing a few important items I noticed that there was multiple 16 x 22 inch holes in my unit just below the ceiling line THAT WERE NOT OR APPARENT THE DAY I MOVED IN OR I WOULD NOT HAVE . I also noticed a layer of dust that had accumulated all over my belongings either from those holes or elsewhere. After not locating missing items I grew concerned and decided to check and make sure the holes where not accessible by others to allow them to enter my unit. I noticed on the wall behind my drive up unit was a door LEADING to the inside units that was unlocked. I went inside to investigate as there was no signs or locks preventing me from doing so. I could IMMEDIATELY SEE the large holes that went to my unit clearly visible from that hallway and clearly accessible by anyone who wanted. The following day I went to the office to pay my rent and was berated with questions as to why I had entered the side door leading to the unites behind my unit. I explained the reasons to the office and instead of showing me concern for the missing items oe gapping holes i was yelled at and warnes to not enter the inside unit door I was lectured and told that I was not permitted to enter anywhere on the property but my units. The following day I came to my unit and discovered eviction letters tapped to both of my units. I had just paid the full balance of $2600 owed the day prior (included over $1000 in fees) and still I find and eviction notice. The notices are retaliatory in nature and Void of any reason to evict or any basis for the action. Tnerefore these creeps are evicting me perhaps hoping to avoid fixing my unit or taking any responsibility for my missing items. TO AVOID CERTAIN FRUSRATIONS LOSSES AND ZERO CHANCE OF RESOLUTIONS FOR ANY ISSUES YOU MAY HAVE I SUGGEST YOU LOOK ELSEWHERE. As the staff here has far too much time and have yet to show me they do anything but complain aboutnothing. This is just one of many incidents i have encountered while trying to work with this location. Not only are rhey condescending and rude but they are impososbke to work with and void of any concerm for you or your property. On top of that they are retaliatory when you bring a real issue to them as I have choosing to evict me rather than fix my unit and restore my belongings that have been taken. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for your storage needs as this place is terrible. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Extra Storage - 17692 Sampson Lane include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 500 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Extra Storage - 17692 Sampson Lane start from $74 and can go up to $749 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
