If I can give 0 stars I would this place is infested with rats my grandma who is 94 years old single old woman had her items here and she had to throw away all her belongings that she cherished memories of her life of her husband who isn’t here anymore everything ended in the trash today because it was full of rat feces and pee. All her jewelry that she had trying to pass down as legacy was stolen the whole unit was stolen and trashed and i honestly think it’s the workers. We asked for cameras and they said they couldn’t because sometimes the cameras have tape like what make that make sense! She’s been paying for what for her items to end up in the trash and stolen. This just happened today so take my advice and don’t put your belongings here and we confront them and they said well we can’t do anything. It’s okay my lawyer will do something! DO NOT TAKE YOUR ITEMS HERE INFESTED WITH RATS! THEY STEAL ALSO AND THEN THEY WONT TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY!! 0 STARS!!! ... Read more

Well my mother has had 2 storage units here for 7 years and we are finally selling, donating and throwing out stuff. The only down side is it's not insulated nor prevents dust from entering. So everything that was in storage had dirt on it but my mother had everything in totes, bags or wrapped so nothing actually got dirty. So if you want to put things in here like Uhaul thinking it will be dust free, look elsewhere. But if you will take the time to protect your items than the process is worth it but the hrs suck! 8-5pm...what storage place closes that dang early? ... Read more

I will amit the price is great! You will get what you pay for.. they have the biggest rats living in your stuff... luckily i plastic wrapped some of my stuff. Everything was covered and soaked in rat pee and poop. I had to throw away a lot of stuff that was not wrapped .. i only had my stuff in storage for 5 months! I actually lost a lot of money that i "saved" in this cheap storage. By re buying furniture That was soaked in rat pee... the owner "bombed" it put traps up everything.. these rats are train professionals . Not one trap was used. But poop around the trap . Its so infested that these rats are not stupid to go near the traps. I would definitely pay extra 20 30 bucks to be rat free.. ... Read more

Need to have better security & update their cameras... The operators do live on site and know most the tenants but I feel it isn't the most secure spot to store your stuff. I like how PRICE Self Storage operates it insures everyone in is out and that you are only accessing your unit and area. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Acme Mini Storage - 14838 Foothill Blvd include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera and Gate. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
