The prices are reasonable, the place is clean and secure, the only thing that I did not liked was the not so gracious Ned side manner of one of the attendants. She was border line rude. I understand that she is doing her job but if you deal with the public you are supposed to have a better attitude ... Read more

I was looking for a storage place online. Came across El Monte Stor It and decided to start the process online. Then got a call from Monica she was amazing! Talked on the phone for a bit she answered all my questions with professionalism. So I decided to personally go into the office to complete the process. Met Monica in person and she was very friendly. She had everything ready for me. Just a few signatures and I was all good to go. Unit was ready and clean! ... Read more

be careful where you park your car! Apparently other cars can hit you and some cameras DO NOT WORK. So if you try to see who it was you won’t be able to lol if you’re solely depending on cameras. My car got hit today around closing time while making a payment and apparently the main camera doesn’t work. Thanks Stor It! ... Read more

I have to say I haven’t had the BEST in person customer service in years! Monica the manager on site, exactly knew the size of storage to recommend after a few questions, perfect size for my belongings. Next, I notice my unit door didn’t have lock pad guard. Monica called Rene, on site maintenance and upgrade my lock and install a guard in minutes!!! Wow! I’ve been rent storage for years never had this customer service. I recommend this storage location. They will work with you! Times are rough and tough, they made it easy. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at El Monte Stor It Now - 10212 East Valley Blvd include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
