They are predatory, careless, and greedy. My storage unit was broken into and they refused to wait with us for the police to arrive. Police arrived and told us they couldn't do anything without someone who worked there. It was a waste of everyone's time. I was never offered any recompensation for my stolen items and I was not offered another storage unit. They just put a different lock and some putty over it. Any time my balance is past due, they call me and threaten to auction my unit on the app. Not everyone gets paid on the first. And I dont appreciate threats. I have a 5×8 unit and I pay 165$ a month for it. It is falling apart. I was overdue one month because the person I share finances with forgot to pay it and my balance came out to 408$ + another 165$ for this month. That is insane. The people there are not understanding and they don't care about you, or anything you store there. What they do care about is what's in your wallet. ... Read more

I feel like we fell for false advertising. The website touted this facility as having lights INSIDE every unit. We complained numerous times before an employee told us that the power was turned off to prevent people from living in the units. While I understand the concern over people camping out in storage units that are not built to residential codes, I am still upset that we are paying for a unit with a light. And they refuse to turn the power on for the lights. They have raised our rent 2 times from $430 to $526 since February. So it's gone up nearly $100 in 3 months. The facility itself is clean and well maintained. ? Employees are friendly and knowledgeable (about everything but storage unit lights). ? ... Read more

On Sunday we accessed our storage and noticed a small lock on it. The lock had a ‘Public Storage’ sticker. The office was closed so I called them directly and left a message. Crystal quickly showed up to help. The lock was not one of theirs and did not directly affect me accessing my unit. She stated she would be having management cut it off at a later time. Crystal was not only prompt in showing up to help on a Sunday but she was also very friendly and easy to communicate with. She circled back several times to check on how things were going and how we were overall satisfied with our space. AWESOME customer service!! It’s good to know that they have excellent staff, our units our being monitored, we can call for help at any time, and it’s easy to communicate with friendly people. 5 stars!! Great job Crystal! ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 1510 North Magnolia Avenue include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 1510 North Magnolia Avenue start from $63 and can go up to $490 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
