I needed storage for my sister who had to move suddenly. I dealt by phone with Levon. We were traveling from the Sacramento area and had no previous storage rental experience. We felt good with the way he handled our lack of experience. When we arrived he made us comfortable and helped us through the entire process, painlessly. Excellent service! With so many storage choices this one makes choosing simple. Thanks Levon! ... Read more

Such a great experience getting a storage unit here. Staff was awesome, so friendly, great with my young daughter. Price was much better than where I originally tried to rent. I like that there was an actual person to work with instead of having to do it all online. ... Read more

We had been thinking about getting a storage unit, and there are so many different facilities in our town it was hard to decide where to go. After making a few phone calls and comparing units and prices, we decided that A-1 Self Storage on Magnolia seemed to offer the security, price, and friendly service we were looking for. On our first visit, we met Miguel, and he tested us like guests! We felt welcomed and comfortable. He showed us the unit we had inquired about, explained their security features, the elevator system, the gate code system, and great hospitality! Just a week later, we realized that we were going to need a larger unit, so we talked to Miguel again, and he was very understanding and helpful in getting us hooked up with a larger unit. It's always nice to be treated like an individual customer when doing business! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at A-1 Self Storage - 1370 North Magnolia Avenue include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 20 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by A-1 Self Storage - 1370 North Magnolia Avenue start from $36 and can go up to $400 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
