Price is now almost TRIPLE (3x) what I paid when I signed up! New customers pay a lot less, then your prices go up. Almost $180 for a small 5x5 unit! Parking is difficult - only 3 spots for loading / unloading. With prices going up CONSTANTLY, can't recommend this place. ... Read more

Phone service is terrible - they just don’t pick up. Price raises pretty much annually. Very musty in storage area. Don’t put in things that are not covered in some sort of plastic. Only positive is that the employees are nice in person and there’s a police station nearby (safety advantage). ... Read more

Good storage, but on the pricey side. In other news, don't ever put your things in another person's storage unit. Never. Never ever do that. Because Central Self Storage, along with every other storage facility in America, will NOT give you access to your things. Ever. They will sell it before giving it back to you. Regardless of the circumstances. Never put YOUR things in another person's storage unit. Even if you have the key to the storage lock, which was given to you by the owner of the storage, they will NOT give access to the property, so you can't even get your things if you have the key. Without the code to access the property, your up a creek. So no matter how cool you are with someone, no matter how briefly it may be for, or how much sense it makes, NEVER put your things in another person's storage unit. This has been a public service announcement. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 307 87th Street include the following amenities: Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 150 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 307 87th Street start from $93 and can go up to $544 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
