What can I say about store local Corona honestly when I first started there with my dad it wasn't bad there was a really great manager in the front I think her name was Kathy or Kathleen something like that and she was so nice so kind so helpful like really went out of her way to make things good I've been out of state at a teaching college and came back to find that she was gone and the guy in the office is really impatient . I showed up close to the 5:00 p.m. time when the office closes I'd done that before when Kathy was there and it wasn't a problem when I got there at like 4:57 the door was already locked all the lights were off. when I knocked a gentleman came out unlock the door and told me that they were closed and he couldn't help me I said it's only 4:58 and is Kathy here he informed me that Kathy was fired from the company and then said I don't help people past 5:00 p.m. I said it's not past 5:00 p.m. yet he pulled out his phone said look on my phone it says five I'm not going to help you. I was a little perturbed by all of this as one i should not have been given that information about Kathy being let go, and second it had not turned five yet he just was really rude and didn't want to help. I again said I just need to make sure that my dad's account is current and he was looking to move to a bigger unit as I was bringing back a lot of stuff. the gentleman told me to come tomorrow and somebody could help me I said will that be you and he said no somebody else is here I asked for his name and he said it's Jason. I told him that I really didn't appreciate his attitude and that he could talk to me in a better way I am a customer and he said if you have a problem with it scan the QR code you can talk to somebody at the call center and shut the door in my face after this interaction and everything else I am definitely going to be looking for a new place for my dad to store I am quite upset at the lack of courtesy or empathy or even common sense that this gentleman had I would say think long and hard before you want to go there. Im quite disappointed they got rid of a manager who had customer service and only kept the dregs. ... Read more

IT GETS WORSE! I went to my unit around 6:50pm to drop off a few boxes. I locked up at 6:59pm and walked straight to the elevator at 7:00pm -- only to end up STUCK for 15 minutes in 100-degree heat with my 8-year-old son. I pressed the emergency button, and thankfully the ladies who answered were kind and did their best to get us out remotely. But in the meantime, my son -- who is terrified of confined spaces -- had a full-blown anxiety attack. By the time we got out, we were drenched in sweat, overheated, and completely dehydrated. And then it gets even worse. This morning, I get a call from Jason at StoreLocal. No empathy, no "are you and your son okay?" -- instead, he jumps straight into interrogating me: "Our place closes at 7. Why did you enter at 6:50 and leave at 7:15?" Excuse me? After what we went through, the last thing I expected was to be treated like I did something wrong. I caught myself mid-explanation -- because honestly, I have every right to access my unit during business hours, and what I do there is none of his concern. What happened to this place? What happened to the staff that used to care? This was beyond unprofessional -- it was dangerous, traumatic for my son, and handled with zero compassion. This place has been on a downward spiral from increasing monthly fees, customer service without any additional value. ... Read more

I originally rented this storage out on a promotion and so far I do not regret it. The manger on site (I believe her name was Kathy) was very friendly, answered all my questions, and gave me a quick tour of the location (and I arrived minutes prior to closing) . Going on my 2nd month and so far, it appears clean and safe. ... Read more

I had a storage unit here for about 7 months. It was a good experience. When I first came, the customer service was impeccable. Before this, I had my things at a Public Storage and this was cheaper and better. I like how the staff let me do my thing and weren’t always checking up on me. I would store here again. ... Read more

I normally don’t write reviews but I definitely had to give this place a 5-star rating! The manager Jason was so friendly and helpful. He didn’t know this but I had a horrible day/week with having to move suddenly. It was refreshing to be helped by someone who is just genuinely nice. I want to thank Jason for being so kind unbeknownst to my personal situation. He has no clue how much his professionalism and even the great discounts helped me to get all my things safely and securely in a storage. I dreaded this process but Jason made it SEAMLESS! Moving sucks. But it’s great to come across a company who’s willing to make the process that much easier. Thank you Jason and the Corona StoreLocal location! I will definitely recommended and use you again! ... Read more

Move in experience was great, I came in right around closing time and Vee still helped me out with finalizing my rental and walked me through to see my unit and even swept it out for me. Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storelocal Storage - 1790 Pomona Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 16 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storelocal Storage - 1790 Pomona Road start from $26 and can go up to $304 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
