What customers are saying

Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 1510 Pomona Road, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

My storage unit was broken into, and thieves stole my belongings. Five months later, I still do not know exactly what was taken, what was left behind, or what happened inside my unit. I rented with Public Storage for over two years and always paid my rent on time. Then I received a call informing me that my unit had been burglarized. Since that day, I have been desperately trying to get answers, but no one seems willing to help. The most frustrating part is not even the theft itself. It is the fact that nobody can tell me what the thieves took. Did they clear out the entire unit? Did they leave some of my belongings behind? I have called countless times, left numerous voicemails, and repeatedly asked for information. Instead of answers, I get silence or the same response: “There is nothing we can do.” I live thousands of miles away and cannot simply drive to the facility to inspect the damage myself. Public Storage knows this, yet their only solution has been to tell me to come in person. Imagine being told that criminals broke into your unit and stole your property, then spending months trying to find out what happened with absolutely no help. That has been my experience. If you want to risk having your belongings stolen and then be left completely in the dark afterward, go ahead and rent with Public Storage. I would not recommend this company to anyone. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 1510 Pomona Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 20 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 1510 Pomona Road start from $49 and can go up to $436 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
