I moved to Colton about 2 years ago but my family have been tenants for for several years. They recommended I use the facility because the managers seem to be really friendly. I did compare to other storage places near by and the others were really high in comparison. I noticed they have made a lot of nice improvements to the lot since I came. My family was right. Every since I've been here managers have been vary courteous. I Think they are sisters but my family and I always deal with "Natalie". She always give us a courtesy call to remind us about are bill. She says hello by first name and had even called us a few times when we forgot to put our locks on the units. I love how this place makes you feel like home and I recommended it to all my friends. ... Read more

I made a reservation the day prior to me having to DRIVE ALL THE WAY to LOS ANGELES AND BACK to the Bay Area. I left at 0430 and left LA right at noon to make it to Budget before they close. They called me to confirm the reservation on my way to LA and I explained the situation and that I would be there today. I arrived at Budget at 5:10 and stood in front of the door for 18 mins for the young dirty blonde girl to come back and ask me what I needed help with. I explained who I was and she said she was closed. I explained I’ve been standing here for 20 minutes. She said, “Yea. I was out on the property doing stuff.” I explained I just drove all the way from LA to make it here in time to get my storage unit which I reserved. Before she opened the office door, she says she already “shut down the system.” Wow! Great customer service and an awesome way to avoid work before closing. Just spend the last 30 mins away from the office “doing stuff.” I would rather lose their promotional price to pay double elsewhere. Now I have things piled in my hybrid until I find another storage unit. Thanks budget!!! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Budget Mini Storage - 1189 West Valley Blvd include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate and Credit Cards Accepted. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
