Read some helpful reviews of Prime Storage (CA17) at 2385 Main Street, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I got this storage on line and paid for the storage unit and lock and the one time fee. I'm I'll so I don't leave my house so I had my husband go to pick up the lock because we were taking everything to the storage the next day. The guy was so rude to my husband and did not want to give him the lock because they said he was not on the paperwork. He locked my husband out and when I called him he did not want to speak to me. I called customer service and told them what was happening and I told them he has authorization to pick up the lock they keep calling the office but he would not pick up so they emailed the worker. Eventually they gave him the lock. Then next morning my son and my husband took the day off to move without pay. When they got there the employee put a lock on my storage unit so we could not get in I paid for it a week before. I waited 2 days for the district manager to call me they never did. So they held my storage hostage because my husband went the day before. First time using this company and last time. They didn't even offer any compensation for everything we went through. ... I wanted to leave a review specifically to commend Crystal, the onsite manager. My existing unit had multiple issues that needed to be addressed. I was expecting the typical excuses but surprisingly, she listened to my concerns, took ownership and explained to me clearly how she was going to resolve the issues. As a result, I ended up upgrading and rented a larger unit. She was incredibly helpful and courteous throughout the entire process. The customer service she provided is outstanding and uncommon. Thank you. ... Read more

The whole experience at this location was awesome ... when I found on google best price near me , they were one of the choices. I didn't really need such a big storage unit ... but the price was right. First month free + admin fee and insurance and than next month they will apply a discount for Veterns. Which any savings is good, and they were great. I did everything on line including booking and locking in price, I did have to speak with agent to apply all discounts, but he was very knowledgeable and quickly got me all set up and I paid the fees due. When I reached the location no one was available at the desk but they have a virtual attendant (like at airport if you know) so I spoke with someone back East over video phone and she was great, fast friendly and got me all set up with unit # and pass code for gate access. I was truly far beyond impressed. I highly recommend this clean, quiet and safe location. ... Read more

Prime storage is very clean the units are large the staff is very nice but the only thing is is they get you in there on the first month free second month was $150 approximately and then it was raised about 25 bucks and then on the fourth month they want it almost double it so I'm not too happy about that so be careful because just because it sounds reasonable expect 3 months down the line 4 months at the most you're going to get your rent doubles ... DO NOT GO HERE! I only give it one star because I can’t give it a 0.it is very disappointing that you go through the steps to cancel via QR code that they says it “quick and easy” but provide you no confirmation and then tell you they still have to charge even for an additional month because they “never received” your cancellation and yet when we did the walk through they had there own lock on “my supposed storage “. So you place your own lock and charge me another month knowing there isn’t anything inside. tell me you don’t have security cameras to see I took my stuff out? And see me scanning the QR code? .. ... Jessica is AMAZING! She's always hard at work and works diligently for the tenants here. She makes the experience of renting from prime storage super enjoyable. Accommodating, responsible, responsive, and extremely kind! Prime has a GEM managing this location and I hope they realize that. Will be keeping this storage, as long as we need one, or at least until Jessica isn't here any longer. Brightens the day and takes care of the property unlike anyone I've dealt with at any other storage company/location. She makes up for the medicore call center service, 10 fold. Thanks, Jessica! ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Prime Storage (CA17) - 2385 Main Street include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 20 to 935 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Prime Storage (CA17) - 2385 Main Street start from $68 and can go up to $1,109 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
