Read some helpful reviews of A Storage Place at 575 Anita Street, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Best storage place in the southbay. I've used this place twice and have zero complaints. This place is clean, secure, and well managed. Prices are also great compared to other storage facilities. Carlos and Nancy are incredibly helpful and friendly, they always say hi and manage the place very well. I highly recommend this place. ... Read more

Nancy was so kind to stay with me via phone to assist me with the online registration. She was also very personable when we arrived at the site to unload our belongings. With the second month free on payment of the first, it's the best deal around! Take a hand truck with you as they aren't currently allowing use of theirs during Corona safety precautions. ... I really want to say how helpful Carlos and the crew were at a self storage on Anita Street! From my initial phone call till I returned the rental truck it was a very good experience. I felt well informed about all of my options as far as what I needed for my particular move. I didn't feel pressured or oversold I felt like they really paid attention to what it was that I needed. The grounds are very clean and well-kept and the access and instructions to get in and out or very easy. all in all they made a very stressful situation just that much easier. Definitely will give this place a 5-star rating. ... Read more

Very professional. I told the manager what I needed and he was able to help me out very quickly. I asked to see a standard 5x10 and he showed me a model they have just to show future customers what they are going to be using. After price comparing with other locations... I opted for A Storage Place. You can’t beat their prices for size and security. The hours are reasonable (6:00am - 8:45pm everyday) , a pin code to get in and out of the property, and lock on the hallway where the storage locker is... how’s that for added security for personal belongings. An easy in and out set up to be able to drop off your items. The storage contract is on paper file and electronic. They go over the basics of the contract and explain everything so you don’t get caught off-guard on anything. Once you agree to the said items, they email you a copy of the contract. I’ve been with other storage places before... and this one tops them all. Right On! ... Read more

Had storage unit here over a year. Autopay is great. The day i went to vacate my unit i finished taking my belongings out and when i went to office i was told i had just been charged that same morning for the next month. The office lady cancelled the charge and returned the fees to my credit card. Thank you! I appreciate i didn't lose out on an unused month. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at A Storage Place - 575 Anita Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Enclosed, Elevators, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 400 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by A Storage Place - 575 Anita Street start from $85 and can go up to $640 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
