03/1994-June 2024 ????? I have trusted them for years and they have never let me down. Janelle & Amy are 2 of my most favorite people. Now. -? Edit: 09/30/24 Wow. This place has gone down hill, so fast and so far, I'm not sure where to begin. 1.Amy and Janelle are gone. And now it seems customer service is none existent. But why should we expect good or at least decent customer service, I mean come on it's not like we're paying good money and they keep increasing the rates. 2. After the 5 freeway expansion where they knocked down half of the facility and put up a chain link fence, they've done nothing to secure the facility and I do not feel safe in this area with a chain link fence between my belongings and the outside, especially at the rate they are charging. Not to mention immediately following the tear down they increased everyone's rates by $100.00. 3. The units leak. 4. The homeless issue under the overpass is ridiculous, and all that's keeping this facility safe is a chain link fence. Sorry the fence issue really, really annoys me because the greed of the owners is so damn glaring. We keep lining their pockets and they do nothing. Please don't waste your time or money. ... So far so good! The young lady is the one I spoke to on the phone and she answered all my questions when I got there she should us a couple of units to help us choose. The unit we chose was large and fits our things perfect. They gave me a lock with a few keys on it. The manager has been most helpful and really awesome! I feel safe with my stuff here and I would recommend giving them a try. Half off the first two months. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Cerritos Self Storage - 16515 Valley View Avenue include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 20 to 400 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Cerritos Self Storage - 16515 Valley View Avenue start from $40 and can go up to $450 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
