RENTER BEWARE! A couple of weeks ago, after heavy rain, I was notified by Public Storage that there was water in my second-floor unit in Building B. Upon arrival, I discovered the roof was leaking, and many of my boxes were soaked. Per the fine print in their agreement, management took no responsibility beyond advising me to file an insurance claim. While moving my wet boxes out, the office staff offered no assistance—also in line with their policy. I strongly recommend choosing a more modern storage facility with well-maintained roofs and better customer service. The entire ordeal required hours of work to move, dry, and repackage my belongings, with no compensation or support beyond refunding the most recent month payment for the unit. Avoid this location if you value your stored items! ... Read more

I spent a large portion of the morning trying to pay my initial bill online. Each link sent to me just sent me back to where I started. Calling the main Public Storage line didn't get me connected to a live person. It wasn't until I got in touch with Ty at the S. Curtner Ave. location that I was able to speak to a person. Ty helped me with some errors in my reservation and sent the correct links to me so I could make my payment and finish getting an account. He was also incredibly patient and waited on the line until I was sure everything was working properly. A huge shout out and thank you to Ty! ... Read more

Victoria is the most awesome chic I’ve ever felt with at any storage place!!! She has the ultimate personality and such a great way with clients. I blew up her phone thinking I wasn’t going to make it on time for my reservation. I arrived and she still greeted me with a smile. I would have been pretty mad but she wasn’t. Love herrrrrr ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 175 South Curtner Avenue include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 175 South Curtner Avenue start from $88 and can go up to $724 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
