Read some helpful reviews of Burbank Self Storage at 3203 North San Fernando Blvd, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

For the past two weeks, I have come to see their holiday displays. I love it. I came across it this year by accident that my son and I had to stop by. Had a great visit (with the staff) with hot cocoa & marshmallows. Came back the following week with my nephew. I heard that this is their last year decorating which completely disappointed me since I just found them. I’m hoping & praying that they change their mind ?? ... Read more

One of Burbank's best-kept secrets for storage. After a expensive (and rising) experience at a nearby corporate storage, I looked in desperation and stumbled upon Burbank Self Storage. This family-run business is spearheaded by the delightful Rhonda, who is incredibly personable, warm, and treats you like family, for real. The previous reviews did not lie about that! The security measures here may not be as fancy as corporate, but durable and reliable, and frankly, more trustworthy. Entertainment industry peeps as well as regular Burbankians needing a spot to store holiday goods will find this place convenient, safe, and clean. The 5x10-foot units are perfect for someone needing an extra closet, with pull-down lightbulb lighting and a wooden floor. The smaller units are more interior and further away from the outdoor elements. You can pull right up to the unit conveniently, no elevators or carts necessary. Bring your own simple combination lock and insurance is OPTIONAL with an third party vendor company, which you will rejoice over after dealing with the corporate overlords and their strict policies. Speaking of which, Rhonda will tell you that they don't impose increases nearly as often as said corporate places do, and when they do, it will be reasonable, eliminating the need to panic and dissolve your unit. During the holidays the cheerful decorations at the front of the property, along with goodies and great cheer, is the cherry on top of this gem of an establishment. I will ONLY return here for my future storage needs. Never change, Rhonda and family! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Burbank Self Storage - 3203 North San Fernando Blvd include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate and Parking. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
