Read some helpful reviews of Bellflower Self Storage at 14822 Lakewood Blvd, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Despite being a repeat customer, Bellflower was extremely inflexible with us on cancelling our spot and we're now paying $240 for a full month's reservation despite having been moved out a week before the month began. We tried to cancel our spot and their office was closed during business hours. From there, we were traveling and off the grid/unable to call them, and when I called on the 2nd of the month they refused to be flexible with us and charged us the month anyway. Really disappointed in their customer service. ... Read more

"I recently rented a U-HAUL truck from Bellflower Storage and had the pleasure of being assisted by Sherry. She was absolutely wonderful! Sherry took the time to thoroughly explain the contract, covering everything from mileage rates to the hourly and daily pricing. Her clear and friendly explanation made me feel completely comfortable with the entire process. Thanks to her excellent service, I’ll definitely be returning to Bellflower Storage for all my U-HAUL needs. If you're ever there, make sure to say hi to Sherry—you won’t be disappointed!" ... It appears that I have made a mistake about thinking the manager this facility had improved, truth of the matter is she allows her personal feelings to get involved with it's customers I have done nothing wrong or broke any rules when she thinks she has something to tell me instead of discussing it she sends somebody else with a message. she feels that checking the cameras at night as a security measure is not her job I personally have no problem with the facility itself but I don't agree with everything the manager says even though I'm not breaking any rules she has decided that she doesn't like me this is the way she treats customers that she doesn't like she doesn't talk to them nor does she respect their rights unless she likes them no matter where you go if you rent a storage space do so with caution, this manager has boldly stated that her boss is not concerned about the storage area but only the money that he gets from it. I AM NOW INVITING the MGR's BOSS TO CONTACT ME TO DISCUSS MY POST. ... Read more

I recently rented a Uhaul from here and the woman at the front desk was so nice and helpful -- even though I was there before it technically opened, she still helped me out. Truck was in good condition and checking in/out was easy and fast. Would definitely recommend! ... Read more

Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Bellflower Self Storage - 14822 Lakewood Blvd start from $90 and can go up to $300 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
