Monarch Mega Storage is awesome! They were a huge help in the process of shipping our car from Oceano to Pennsylvania. Due to timing of moving across the country and availability of car shippers, we had a delay of moving people vs shipping the car. We had to park the car somewhere safe and reliable while we left the area in our other car to start driving across country. I was stuck for what to do with the other car until a car shipper could pick it up. Monarch Mega Storage to the rescue! They had one auto storage space left and let me rent it to park the car until it was picked up. They also facilitated giving the car keys to the car shipper once he showed up … nearly a month after parking the car there. MMS was so easy to work with, they were flexible, and very reliable. Communication was always timely. And they have an online billing system to make paying the bill easy. The entire facility is new and modern and plenty of security. I highly recommend them for any storage needs. ... Read more

Office staff is extremely rude. Conversations are circular in nature and repetitive. I suggest finding a storage location that understands how to effectively communicate and the importance of customer service. ... Read more

So this place is a good location quite secure... we’ve had our RV stored there for a few years. But I just have to say out loud that the lady in the office is truly one of the rudest human beings that has ever existed. Apparently rats chewed the wires of our RV. We did not ask nor expect the lady in the office to be responsible for that. But when my husband asked if there had been problems with rats - he was told no problems they knew of and the rude uncaring lady says “ Well you should have checked on your RV instead of leaving it so long.” A. How is that helpful? We live hours away and due to COVID haven’t traveled. B. How does that help us and support us in that moment. C. What do we pay you for? To be judged by you? To be schooled by you because you’re an angry person? Yes this storage place is good and a nice location - but believe me the customer service and customer care does NOT exist. Just know that when you sign up. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Monarch Mega Storage - 2015 Olivera Avenue include the following amenities: Indoor, 24 hour access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Monarch Mega Storage - 2015 Olivera Avenue start from $50 and can go up to $200 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
