Our former (awesome) downstairs housemate works for the federal government, and has relocated to Washington D.C., which creates this vacancy after three great years here. Who are the residents / who would be your future housemates? Well, me, for starters. I am the owner, a 50+ divorced dad, who works full time near DFW Airport, for a major corporation, going on 30 years now. I have two grown boys, one of whom lives upstairs in his own room, is exceptionally quiet, and fully employed. We have our own rooms, and share a bath. We both relocated to Texas from Washington State. I was transferred here by my employer in 2021, and my son came later. Also upstairs is a young professional woman who works full-time as well. She is tidy, friendly and considerate, and like the rest of us, rarely seen. Yours is the only room downstairs. The house is nicely furnished, fully decorated, clean and comfortable. We all clean up in the kitchen before we leave the kitchen, and that cardinal rule has served us well. The yardwork is done professionally. Please reply with a bit about yourself - as much as you are comfortable sharing. Please consider including an explanation of your ability to pay, your preferred move-in date, duration of tenancy, your work schedule (and whether it will be from home or on-site, or a mix thereof) and any special needs you may have. Not accepting pets or couples at this time - just one individual. The occasional overnight stay from an out-of-town family members is fine, but no frequent overnights of any kind will work. With two guys and one gal in the house, I'm strongly encouraging one more gal to even out the vibe. If we converse and things look like a potential fit, we can meet in public for coffee, and I’ll send you a video link for a tour of the home, and provide an in-person tour of the home if you like, and if you are a gal, you can talk with our current female housemate who lives in the upstairs suite for more reassurance, and bring anyone you like along for the tour.
