Why Renters Love It Here

Great Location

I love this location, it couldn't be better! However, the parking garage is really hard to maneuver in when the garage is full. Also if the garage has to be shut down for maintenance you suddenly have to compete for overnight street parking, which increases the risk of your car being broken into. Residents who own dogs are still learning how to interact in a such a small, confined space with their dogs and others. It's not uncommon to try and exit the elevator only for a dog owner to try rushing in once the doors open, and then the dogs start acting up. It's not uncommon to hear dogs barking at all times of the day, and my internet installation reps mentioned being afraid of other dogs in other units. There are breed restrictions and pets are limited to two per unit, but multiple times I've seen one person with 5 pitbulls entering the building or other banned breeds (on and off lease, which off leash is banned). People commonly smoke in the garage, either standing or in their cars. Despite multiple notices I don't see this behavior changing. It's also not uncommon to hear residents fighting with each other in the halls late at night. It's like living in a dorm with incredibly unpredictable neighbors and their animals.

Overall pleased

Suzie is amazing. Building is so nice. I’m very grateful to live here. The only real noise issues are from Tony’s bar on Friday and Saturday night, but that is out of the control of Housing Catalyst. Building is very modern and secure. Only unpleasant experience I’ve had is with one of the maintenance guys that acts snoopy and isn’t very polite. Residents all seem pretty nice and most seem as grateful as I am for this place. Thanks again and I can’t stress just how incredible Suzie is! Thank you!
