Looking for a Philadelphia apartment? Chances are you have a list with a few things that are pivotal for you as you begin your search for the perfect place. If not, don’t sell yourself short. Expect great amenities from your next apartment, and hopefully you will be rewarded.
If you’re not going to make a list of the amenities you should demand from your next apartment, we’ll just have to do it for you ..
-Spacious kitchen: Perfect for entertaining friends and family, or just cooking large and amazing meals for yourself.
–View of the city out your living room or bedroom windows. You need a least one room with a great view in any apartment. Two is an added bonus!
–Off-street parking. Often hard to find, but worth paying a little extra if you can land a place with a private parking lot. Valet service? You’re in the money!
–Roof top deck. Just the best thing ever. They aren’t plentiful but if you find a building that has one you may be motivated to overlook other flaws.
–Public transportation right out your front door. If you don’t have a car or would prefer not to use your car very often, easy access to public transportation can be a strong selling point for any apartment.
–Cool neighbors. You can find these in any neighborhood, but if you get really lucky they’ll be the kind you connect and develop a friendship with.
–Near good restaurants/parks/shopping/schools/your workplace. Wherever you spend most of your free time or your work days, having an apartment close by can simplify your life immensely.
What did we leave off the list? If we got you thinking about what you really want from that new rental, consider our work here done. Now go find it on RentCafe.
