You don’t have to grow dreadlocks, stop using deodorant or go vegan all of a sudden to reap the benefits of a green lifestyle. There are easier ways to be eco-friendly in 2013, just find out what works best for you.

Outfitting your rental home with environmentally friendly furniture and finishes is key in creating a healthier and more sustainable living environment. Safe to use on most surfaces, these green alternatives have the added bonus of being incredibly cheap. Here’s a video showing you how to clean your sink using a baking soda and vinegar solution:

Did Santa get you that new tablet, smartphone or MP3 player you’ve always wanted? You may no longer treasure your old gadgets, but they’re precious, oh so precious! Gold, lithium, copper and other such metals are required to make electronic items, so be sure to bring them to a collection center once you’re done with them.
