Rollin is rich in history, the standing timbers, floor tiles, and decking that welcome you as you enter the building were salvaged from a one-story building that previously stood on the site of Rollin Street Flats.
In a space like this, your art, your furnishings and your friends become the centers of attention.

Impressed with Rollin Street Flats
I have lived here only for a few months, but I thoroughly enjoy my apartment and the building! The finishes are top notch, and because it was originally designed as a condo building in 2008, the sound proofing, large layouts of the apartments, and high end finishes are very noticeable in comparison to some of the newer rentals in the area. This is a medium rise building, so if you go in understanding that and don't allow yourself to get swept away by all the modern high rises being built all around this spot, you definitely won't be dissatisfied. The staff (mainly Phelicity and Amber) are so very kind, caring, patient, and get things handled efficiently. They really keep the place operating at a high level. For the most part, neighbors stay to themselves and are for the most part on the quieter side, but as a working professional that is exactly what I am after in a place to live. I am not looking for a party house. The parking spaces and garage are a little tight and most available spots are down a few levels which can be a drag, but overall I have been satisficed and my car has been safe. For those who care, this is not a building with a doorman or a swimming pool, but the building is still very secure safe. Lastly, the amenities are great for the value and price you are paying (gym, full court basketball, lounges, outdoor areas with grills). Just realize this is Seattle and the building is located in a very corporate feeling area with Amazon and not the most diverse part of town. If that doesn't bother you, this is a great place to live! **NOTE** The only thing I think could be better marketed and pointed out is that many of the 1 bedroom units are really "junior one bedrooms or studios" in the sense that the walls don't go all the way to the ceilings and there isn't a physical door, but rather a sliding glass door. For some that is a huge issue, but for others it's not one at all. I think it is just important that people understand that before signing a lease.
Recommend staying here!
I moved from Texas to Seattle. Apartment sizes were definitely a thing my wife and I had to modulate our thinking. In our search throughout SLU area, we came across this property and fell in love with the open nature of the floor plans, location and amenities. This apartment is built like a condo, so unlike other apartments walls are not paper thin and all the fixtures used in the apartment are built to last. Leasing office staff is super helpful and front office definitely go above and beyond to help anyone and build relationship with existing and potential residents. The apartment not only has proper AC / heating but all apartments come with nest installed. This makes it super convenient to control the temperature. Whole foods is right across the street and there is easy access to freeways and public transport. Parking is convenient and parking charges are pretty standard for SLU if not lower. There is additional storage in the apartment. This was helpful for us since we were moving from a house in Texas to an apartment in Seattle. We were able to store additional stuff in the secure storage in the building itself instead of offsite facility. Gym is pretty huge and comes with an attached basketball court. If there is a need, there are 2 gyms in the commercial space below the apartment. I definitely recommend anyone who is moving to SLU to consider this place as a strong option. You definitely good value for the money!
Great location and awesome office staff
I've been here a few months. The apartments are beautiful on the inside, the building is kept up well. A little bit of age is showing, but it seems like these were built to last. Maintenance and the front office staff are great!
Great location, and apartment (for me)
Positives; great location, heavy solid doors, concrete and steel building with quiet modern appointed units that are well laid out. Negatives; minimal amenities and nearly non-existent building activities (which is fine by me) garage doors breaking numerous times throughout the year(s), elevators disabled for days on end, and garbage compactor breaking down yearly. Very poorly run, specifically management with numerous billing and overbilling issues almost monthly with several units (neighbors talk). Rent is too high for the amenities and current management provided compared to all the newer buildings.
