Having lived in this building for many years, I have interacted with A LOT of different staff working in the front office (which the volume of turnover is another concern all together). Without a doubt, engaging with the current staff is beyond frustrating with (when they are even if the office) and are hardly proactive or quick to help when something is needed. We have had increased package thefts, hot water issues, trash and recycling issues, among many others that have happened within the last 6-8 months alone. All of those were poorly (if at all) communicated and when asking the front office about it, they responded in a condescending tone with no accountability or responsibility for what's happening in the building. Their answers never answered the questions asked. And when communicating over email, they do not respond quickly (within a day or two) or even at all. All I (and the rest of the community I've spoken with) want is transparency on what the property is doing to correct security and utility issues. Overall, this is the worst customer service experience I have seen from this property. Please fix it to bring the level of quality back that matches what was in place before.

Staff is very rarely available on site. Leasing/management office often closed. Lock out services no longer available. Maintenance issues such as recycling have been down for over 6 months. Utilities bills are astronomical.

I've been here one of the longest; some were good staff, and others were not. When operating smoothly, which is rare, not having a broken garbage compactor, broken garage door, downed elevator, etc., it's a decent value. Still, I find being in the industry for all the complications that regularly occur and the dated carpeting and amenities increasing the rent is only justified if you enjoy high turnover. I find it more complex and challenging to justify the location and building. The gym is dated with equipment that is rarely used, no average stair masters, not one, and no guest parking. What is the point of entertaining?

I am in my 5th year here. I lived here through COVID-19, Quarantine, and the riots that went on previously, and what I love most is the locale to Lk. Union, Sea Center, and exterior amenities. Specifically, this building is steel and concrete, and it is relatively quiet for living downtown. Further, because of the construction and being on an upper floor, I do not need heat or A/c. My unit remains an even 70-72 degrees year-round. The downside, if any, has been related to the previous management (but it appears the company is aware of this as they tend to rotate management about once a year). The elevators, security parking garage gates, and garbage compressors typically go out at least twice a year. Still, the affordable rent mitigates that, and the gates are the fault of tenants hitting them with their vehicles. Being in real estate for 30+ years in Seattle as a profession, I look at cost versus reward, and the reward outweighs the costs. We may not have pools, spas, or large gyms, but the reality is, would you rather have a pool you'll rarely use or a 2nd bedroom/additional square footage? It is of suitable value, and I intend to renew it for yet another year.

The team here is consistent, responsive, and take care of the building. The building has great large layouts and the price points match what you get quality wise compared to the other buildings in the area (small, cheaply made, etc)
