Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 700 Fairview Avenue North, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Employees are awesome, business is not. There is NEVER anyone in the office. I practically pooped myself in the middle of a storage run because no one was at the office and I had to run home. Edit: Let me be clear, this is not the fault of the employees they are running around doing everything which means they can’t be available in the office. You guys don’t give your staff enough support. I’m not mad at the employees I’m mad at yall as a company for not giving your people hours and support and creating the conditions in which your staff has to fail because they can’t physically be everywhere. To the wonderful staff: I gave y’all two more stars. It’s not your fault the company is being run like this, but it doesn’t change the fact that things of affects things at the point of service. Clearly the company or owner or whatever are trying to save a buck or are running through employees, either way y’all are understaffed. There used to always be at-least one person in the front and often even two. Finally, If this place comes down on the employees for this I will leave and never come back. They are clearly doing what they can and this is not their failure. They’re always kind and friendly. YALL as owners and operators are failing to provide them what they need to do their job and it is being felt at the point of service. It’s crazy I had to explain this. ... Read more

Karisha was super helpful!! I was downsizing to a smaller unit which would necessitate moving some pretty heavy boxes. She found a smaller unit in the same bldg and same floor as my current unit. She also navigated the complexities of my company’s account. Very nice person with a great attitude!!! ... Read more

Just put in the name and I would like to acknowledge Karisha and Julian and John I would like to acknowledge these individuals for going above and beyond with their customer service time and patience with me. I am not good with using these locks. They have different times taking the time to show me how to use the lock and have gone above and beyond with helpful advice and being kind and caring ... Julien at reception was so pleasant and helpful in my decision which unit to use and got me set up quickly and efficiently. The unit was clean, the app makes entry into the lot was easy (except sometimes the elevator wouldn’t connect with the app but it was still easy to enter the code) and overall great experience as a first time storage user! ... I’ve rented at many Public Storage facilities and I must say this one has been the best! Super clean and safe. Easy to navigate and always able to find a cart to use. Julian at the front desk was very helpful and easy set up and move out. The app is helpful with the gate access and elevator access and not having to remember the long code. ... Read more

The good: The facility is clean and well organized. The staff is friendly and helpful - especially Julian. There are deals to be had if you only need short term storage. The not so good: The freight elevator in the north building went out of service for a few days while I was trying to move out. This, apparently, is not the first time this has happened. Be prepared to schlep larger items that don't fit in the smaller elevator down the stairs in a pinch! They did end up waiving all of my fees due to this problem, which I appreciate. Also keep in mind that you need to buy a custom Public Storage lock for $20. This lock isn't designed to be used with anything but their storage units, and this requirement was not disclosed when purchasing storage on their website. ... Read more

I can not recommend him enough for his exceptional customer service time and time again which keeps me with Public Storage. ... Read more

Great facility, modern, clean and convenient. Most importantly, the staff is courteous and customer focused. When I needed a helping hand vacuum sealing my mattress, I went to the office and got multiple hands. I was provided with a vacuum and hands-on assistant in vacuuming and wrapping the mattress. Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 700 Fairview Avenue North include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 20 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 700 Fairview Avenue North start from $70 and can go up to $458 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
