What others love about this property:
East Union Review
Great staff, great opportunities to meet residents during events. Unit is great. Outside at night is slightl sketchy though. During the day has lots of foot traffic, giving a healthy upcoming neighborhood.
Location, location, location
After living here for over 15 months the best feature is still the location. Location above all else has kept me here. The staff is always friendly, courteous, and professional. However, price of rent and parking has skyrocketed. East Union is now much more expensive than similar buildings in our neighbor. In order to compete this building needs to reduce rent and parking costs.
My Review
Great staff, super friendly. Only thing is that the business across the street gets a bit “loud” . Its a busy street so you’ll hear police cars or fire trucks . Love the upcoming community though.
Disrespectful neighbors
Neighbors will be allowed to play subwoofers and bass to disrespectful levels at all times do the day - interrupting your sleep, your WFH, and your rest time. Management claims to be unable to do anything about it beyond having chats that result in no improvement of the situation.
Several Concerns
I enjoy the location of this property, the building is beautiful, and the maintenance staff are great, but I do have several concerns. A pipe located above my car in the parking garage leaked corrosive grease onto my car during a weekend with a lot of rain. Took my car to a service company and the staff were unable to get the drip marks off my car and reported that a full paint job will be required. Management told me they will not be able to pay for the damage to my car and I will need to take this issue to my own insurance company. Not OK. Will continue to follow up on this issue. I have lived in this community for a little over a year and have seen five different leasing managers come and go. I do not bother to learn the names of staff at this point. Also, temp leasing agents are not trained well enough when it comes to collecting checks. Temp staff were unable to figure out our rent cafe so we gave a physical check instead. Then received a late rent fee notice on our door. Followed up and turns out the temp misplaced our check and they were going to make us pay for something that was not our fault. They need to have written documentation that they collected the check in the first place. I understand the staff are new, but I do not feel supported by new management staff. Also seems like there is no written communication between staff.
