Overpriced and Underwhelmed

Rating: 2/5 stars I've had a mixed experience at The Goat apartment complex. The management team is great, and the apartment is beautiful. However, the noise level is unbearable, with children jumping and screaming at 1-3 am. We've had to call security multiple times to address noise ordinance violations at 2-3 am, which is unacceptable. The complex also has issues with dog poop and garbage. When the dumpsters are full, trash is left on the ground, and garbage is only collected once a week. The costs are exorbitant: $2299 rent, plus $100 for covered parking, $50 dog fees, $108 water/sewer/gas, and $110 electricity, totaling $2777/month. Additionally, the heating system doesn't warm up the master bedroom properly, and we've experienced random incidents like a lunatic screaming in the parking lot. The walk-in closet had a strange, unpleasant odor initially, but it's since been resolved. Pros: - Great management team - Beautiful apartment - Good location Cons: - Extremely loud neighbors and children - Overpriced - Dog poop and garbage issues We're counting down the days until our lease is up. With 9 months left, we're hoping the time passes quickly. If not, we'll explore options to break our lease. Not recommended for families seeking a peaceful living environment. Would not renew lease even if changes were made.

Noise

We had a bad experience the first year we lived here with a out of control child living above us. Once they moved it was much better and while we now have courteous adults living above us it is much better. I will however say that the carpeting is very poor quality and the lack of a sufficient pad underneath it contributes to the noise that is heard between the floors.

Living here is average

Unfortunately noise of upstair neighbor with child is excessive. Jumping off furniture and constantly running make a lot of noise downstairs. Have called twice to office, stopped by once and still no change. Handi cap parking space is often taken and must park at the end of building without cover and no site of vehicle. Dog wash station has not worked since we have lived here. Overall, it is average for an apartment. It would be perfect if it wasn't for the upstairs neighbor. Perhaps children and families should be in a different building or stacked so single and couples don't have to deal with the noise.

The GOAT

My family & I moved in late November. We haven’t had any complaints or problems sonce we’ve moved in. The staff in the office & maintenance have been so friendly & helpful. Haven’t had any problems contacting anybody for any reason. The unit we have & apartment itself is definitely worth the price.
