More land escaping maintenance require, on green areas . Residents with pets should be more considered , by picking up their pets waste. , Gym area carpets are extremely dirt , should be clean it .

Lived here for a few years. The Management is responsive whenever we have an issue. The community is good. Amenities are great for the area. Only downside is being right on the highway where their is a lot of construction. But the builders did a good job tucking the community away on a hill so it does not feel too busy.

The past three years at Birwood Heights have been one of my biggest blessings since moving to San Antonio. My favorite part of living here is it's location. Right of 1604 and within walking distance to Freetail Brewery, Scuzzi's Italian, Las Palapas, Freddy's, Willie's Icehouse, need I go on? It's location is prime. You can step out your door and be at any of these locations on foot in less than 5 minutes. It's truly wonderful. Also a short 5 minute drive you arrive at two of my favorite trails one at Eisenhower Park and the other is the 1604 Salado Creek Trailhead. Those locations were a very necessary retreat as the past 3 years involved the COVID confinement we all had to endure. Those green spaces and daily hikes helped keep me physically and mentally healthy during a trying time. Being so close to these locations was a blessing. Along with the perks, I have taken advantage of a couple of offers here like paying for a garage. I think this was a worthy investment given the storms we have, and the filled parking lot on the weekends. I often go to the clubhouse to meet with friends, play pool, or have a coffee. It is clean and really hope the other residents can respect that spot for all residents. Finally, as with any location there is continually maintenance, and any issue I've had has been met swiftly. Overall, I love this location and plan to continue residing here for some time.

Overall experience has been great. Although parking can be hard to find at times, and communication with the front office can be difficult, the complex is a great place to live and an affordable price.
