No more than two (2) pets are allowed per apartment and there is a 40-pound maximum weight limit per pet on all apartments on the 2nd, 3rd floor. There is no maximum pet weight limit for apartments on the 1st floor.The following breeds, regardless of weight are prohibited: German Shepherds, Huskies, Malamutes, Chow Chows, Great Danes, St. Bernard's, Mastiff, Dobermans, Rottweiler's & Pit Bulls. Prior to move-in or when a pet is acquired, you must provide management with a veterinarian certificate of health with the following information: name, breed, age, weight, shots or vaccinations. You must provide a picture of pet(s) for our records. Pet must also be interviewed by the property manager prior to move-in of the pet. Animals designated as assistance animals will be allowed in accordance with applicable fair housing regulations. Reference the Pet Addendum and Pet Community Policies for details.

Review of Unit 10109

We were formerly in Unit 9105. That unit was in better shape than this one and the overall condition of the unit when we moved into this was not as good as 9105 was when we moved in there. However, we did move in to 10109 at about the time the virus hit, so no move in repairs and tweaks have been made or had a chance to be made. Overall, the staff is very good to work with and maintenance is great to work with. This unit is much noisier than the other one, though that has to do with location. Not at all happy about the suggestion of paying a late fee during the period of pandemic, particularly 10% of a high rental amount.

Wonderfull place to live! Sometimes it's a bit iffy on the phone reception, though. Otherwise, I give the Belmont an average of 4 and 1/2 stars!

Belmont - nice WestU apartment complex

The Belmont is a nice choice for those willing to live in the WestU neighborhood. Staff is very friendly and professional, maintenance crew is one of the best in the city, and although the property is a bit dated, amenities are still pleasant. A few issues with parking, break-ins and related incidents are not uncommon in Houston apartments, so they happen every once in a while at The Belmont as well. The best perk: a direct door to HEB!!

The Belmont and why I love it

The Belmont has been my home for 3 years and consistently it has provided me with solid reasons to keep renewing my lease. Great location, wonderful staff who are always ready to help, and nice neighbors living around me!
