I've been at the Shoal for a year and have grown to appreciate the proximity to things downtown and near UT's campus. The units are clean, modern, and quiet and I generally feel safe and at home in my apartment. The building amenities are nice although some features, like TVs in most common-spaces which do not operate, were initially appealing and have not met expectations. For the most part, the tenets are cordial but I don't necessarily feel a sense of community.
