Poor condition, Difficult staff, Excess charges

The apartment didn't look like the photos I was shown by the agent (Amy). There were stains, crooked cabinets, and a broken window. It took months of following up and eventually threatening legal action for them to fix the window. The A/C unit broke down in the Summer, but they never fully fixed it. I had to follow up almost as much as I did for the window. Someone entered my apartment while I was away and used the bathroom without flushing. I could explain why I know this but the review length is limited. They refused to do a move-out inspection to verify everything was clean enough, but later stuck me with a cleaning and stretching charge. I had to argue over the phone for an hour to get the cleaning charge removed. Throughout all of this, when talking with any of the staff, they have proven to be exceedingly difficult to work with. Whenever one of my family members attempts to ask a question or participate, the staff will refuse to talk to them, even though I am present and clearly approve of it. DO NOT STAY HERE. They leave the units in poor condition, silently brush off major maintenance issues, and attempt to stick you with excess charges (with little recourse short of filing for court action). They don't even check the form you fill out when moving in to see if they should actually charge you for these things. I felt the need to write this review because I have never so thoroughly felt taken advantage of in my life. I had to learn about relevant sections in the Texas Property Code and re-read my lease before getting on the phone or sending an email with anyone, and even then they usually just fell back to repeating some canned statement. I literally slept in the apartment for about 30 days during the entirety of the lease due to the pandemic. None of the rooms were ever fully furnished. The only furniture I had was new from Ikea, but nothing was ever slid around the rooms. Some rooms were completely empty for most of the lease. I had no

Great place to call home

I had nothing but pleasant times . Loved the convenient location between the Arberetum and the Domain. The staff was great. Nicole was amazing. Went to her for anything and she always had answers. Will miss them.

Summertime heat

On August 7th I came home from work and my apartment was 85 degrees. I set it at 74 when i left that morning. I tried to lower the thermostat but the ac would not kick on. I went down to the office right before 6pm because nobody answered the phones when i called. They took my name and apartment number and called the on call maintenance man. He arrived as soon as he could get there. His name is Cesar and let me tell you he is awesome! He did so many things to try and figure out what was wrong with my AC. Even though it was getting later he worked to try to fix my ac because it was extremely hot and uncomfortable in my apartment. He would not leave until my AC was fixed. He was drenched in sweat but kept on working. He eventually got my AC to work and I haven't had an issue since then. Thank goodness!! I really appreciate what he did! I have lived in a few different apartments and he is by far the BEST maintenance man i have ever come across! Estate on quarry lake is very lucky to have him! Thank you Cesar for making my life easier!
