I'm 60+ and in my first apartment, following a divorce. The staff helped me through the leasing process and answered all my questions. My apartment was clean and in good repair, although the new paint job was a little sloppy in places. I rarely hear anything from surrounding apartments. My one complaint is that it's taken too long (7 months) to get my renter's insurance documents sorted out - with bad communication from Riverside and Valiant management.

Reviewing for a family member - Apparently, when you decide to move out at the end of your lease, follow the steps to complete your move out per the contract, they decide to charge you the full rent for the NEXT month after you move out. They don't understand the concept of "Move out". Time to own up to the issues and get it fixed.
