What others love about this property:
It is just beautiful here
I have lived here at The Meadows about a year and a half now and really don't think I am leaving until I am physically unable to care for myself anymore. My apartment is HUGE compared to every apartment I have ever seen. I love my closet that has essentially become my dressing room with a full-length mirror, chair and even pictures on the walls. There is plenty of parking. If windows are open, you can hear traffic from Cedar Crest Blvd...but try to find anywhere in the Lehigh Valley without noise from traffic. I enjoy the sound of the Emmaus HS Band practicing on a Saturday morning, and the announcer and cheering crowd from a Friday night Football game. The fountain in the pond lit up in the evening, and the beautiful sun sets over the tree line are gorgeous. And I really enjoy watching all of the wildlife thriving as if the tenants are not even here. I love the baby geese who arrive in May, and I love watching them grow until you can no longer tell who is Mama and who is Baby. I have seen so many different species of birds, and know which ones are speaking or singing when they come to visit. Who doesn't love a tiny chipmunk or a squirrel? It seems like they don't even notice us sitting out on the patio. The deer sometimes venture out of the trees to look for a treat left in the grass. If you are lucky a baby bunny will hop out near the deer, and you can get a great picture on your phone to show the grandkids and tell them that Bambi and Thumper came to visit. The staff are so friendly and really take great care of everyone. I have never heard of an apartment community that holds functions monthly showing their appreciation (for the rent) and giving everyone an opportunity to meet some of their neighbors. (Pig Roasts, breakfasts, Ice Cream Truck, Basket Drawings and a Chili Cookoff just to name a few) The maintenance staff take your request for repairs, very seriously regardless of what it may be. They are all great. I really just love it here!
Not bad
Not a bad place to live. Management is corporate and rates actively raise 10% a year. Good place for 6-12 months.... anything longer is a waste.
Lovin the meadows
We love it here! It is a bit pricey here but it is a wonderful place to live. The staff is nice and maintanece is on top of it!
