Great customer service! Spoke with Daniela. She was very patient ,knowledgeable and extremely helpful and very kind to a not very savvy old woman trying to navigate her new iPhone. My only concern is how long a phone wait, but it’s worth the wait as so far all the customer service reps I’ve dealt so far have been excellent ... Read more

KO STORAGE on Tin Top Rd in Weatherford is a pretty good place to rent storage, the only problem I have had is with MICE and RATS! I finally took matters into my own hands and killed a lot of mice and a couple of rats ... Read more

The customer service was excellent, but when I showed up to put a lock on my storage unit the door was open, there was garbage in the unit and dirt all over the floor. It also had a bad smell. I called and spoke with a person at KO and am awaiting a reply. UPDATE: since this was the only 10x30, I downsized to a 10x20. Customer service was excellent throughout the process. ... Read more

This is a horrible storage unit, DO NOT rent from this place. There are rats all over the place, I had belongings damage due to the rats, discusting. I called the number "which is not a direct number to the property" to do a lockout request and NEVER got a call back. Horrible experience with this place. ... Read more

Horrible! Gate was broken for months, our storage unit was broken into. Insurance has been trying for months to get in contact with owner. Owner does not feel it was a high priority that the gate was left open even though we pay for a "secured" storage unit. We've also have had 3 or 4 rate increases however absolutely NOTHING has improved!! Look elsewhere I strongly advise it. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at KO Storage - 2220 Tin Top Road include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Parking and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by KO Storage - 2220 Tin Top Road start from $54 and can go up to $200 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
