Read some helpful reviews of A-Affordable RV-Boat Storage at 2733 North TX 16, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I have been storing our family’s belongings at this facility for roughly six years now, and to be perfectly frank, it used to be an absolute nightmare. The property changed hands and managers more times than I care to count, and the neglect was palpable. Whenever those dreadful storms rolled through, absolutely nothing was repaired. The grass was left to grow completely out of control, quite literally taller than me, and trying to get anyone to answer the telephone was an exercise in futility. They simply did not care. Then, RecNation took over. A few months into their ownership, a lovely young lady appeared at the facility. My family and I were out there unloading some items, and she went entirely out of her way to walk over, introduce herself as the new facility manager, and immediately asked if she could assist us. She then proceeded to help us unload two entire trailers of items into our unit. When we finished, she asked if there was anything else she could do. As if that next-level service wasn't shocking enough, she then asked if we had a few moments to chat. She genuinely wanted to hear about our past experiences, what issues needed to be addressed, and how she could improve things for us. I was utterly impressed. I mentioned a couple of ongoing nuisances, specifically my door latch sticking and a small crack at the bottom of the unit that allowed rainwater to seep in. The very next day, I received a telephone call from Mikeulyn letting me know the latch had been repaired. She had already installed a rubber seal to the bottom of the door to stop the water (and it worked perfectly). She provided me with her direct work number and email, ensuring me I could reach out anytime. I have called her several times since, and she either answers immediately or returns my call promptly. She is remarkably helpful. In all my years here, I had never once seen an employee on the grounds. Because we live nearby, I drop in about once a week to check on our things. Every single time, save for perhaps once or twice, I see her bright, smiling face out there working. She is always cleaning, surveying the property, or assisting other tenants. This facility is absolutely massive, and no matter where she is on the property, she goes out of her way to walk all the way over to our vehicle before we exit the gate just to ensure we don't need help. It is quite a trek. Frankly, RecNation, you must buy this young lady a golf cart or a Mule to get around this enormous acreage, and she deserves a substantial raise for the sheer volume of manual labor she does with such grace. She is incredibly proud of the company she represents. When I casually remarked that I thought the corporation might be a bit lazy based on the past, she was quick to politely correct me. She told me, "From the owner all across the board, I am so lucky to work for such good, kind people. I learn from them and grow every day, and I assure everyone of the tenants that RecNation is top tier, we just don’t see what’s behind the scenes." While I cannot speak for the corporation as a whole, I am happily continuing my business at this facility solely because this manager is exceptionally hardworking, kind, honest, and dedicated. The only remaining downside is the property's labeling; my own unit does not even have a number on it yet. However, Mikeulyn noted that she and one of her superiors are already actively working on a relabeling project. Once that is resolved, I will have absolutely zero complaints. RecNation truly found a gem in Mikeulyn, now please give her a raise and some wheels! I know this is long winded but it’s deserved so if yall are looking for storage, RecNation is the place to be. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at A-Affordable RV-Boat Storage - 2733 North TX 16 include the following amenities: 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Enclosed, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 360 to 750 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by A-Affordable RV-Boat Storage - 2733 North TX 16 start from $129 and can go up to $191 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
