Tarryn has been a tremendous help with deciding to rent a unit and stay vs leaving for another unit that is closer to my home. From explaining the move-in process to getting in and out of the facility, I have never had an issue. The facility is clean, well lit and Tarryn is always there to offer a friendly hello or helping hand. I highly recommend this facility for anyone’s storage needs. ... Read more

Tarryn was absolutely so helpful to me during a very difficult move.I had initially reserved a 5x10 storage space however when I arrived and opened the door I realized the space was entirely too small. He was very accommodating to find a larger space for me in addition to answering all my questions as I had never rented a storage space prior to this. Each time I've needed to return to the facility Tarryn has been very helpful and friendly. He is a wonderful asset to your company ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 730 West Loop 1604 North include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 730 West Loop 1604 North start from $16 and can go up to $225 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
