Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 7234 Blanco Road, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

John, has been absolutely outstanding. He helped me update fiduciary documentation for our nonprofit and made what could have been a complicated process incredibly easy and stress-free. When we changed our lock, John noticed almost immediately and proactively reached out within hours to confirm it was authorized and not something nefarious or an attempt to access our unit improperly. That level of attention and security awareness gave us tremendous peace of mind. He also took the time to walk me through several downsizing options, clearly explaining the process and making sure I wouldn’t incur any unnecessary charges when we decide to move. Professional, attentive, and genuinely looking out for the customer—John is exactly the kind of manager you hope to work with. Highly recommend. ... Read more

Gross, disgusting, ?? filthy??place to store your stuff. i wish i would have taken some pics of all the ?? ??(rat poop) because there was plenty, but I was too busy loading up my stuff and getting it out of there. Luckily, since my personal unit wasn’t the rats favorite place to hang out, thanks to the boric acid and powdered bleach I shook onto the floor around the perimeter of my unit. On top of that there was no light in the unit it was extremely dark, and the manager was useless. He milled around more interested in harassing customers to make sure you were using your time wisely there and constantly moving your belongings in or out. He didn’t want you to sort anything. Not only did he not clean that dump, he really didn’t anyone else to either, as he said that you must be actively moving stuff in or out the unit if you were there. That’s fine if your using your storage while your moving into a place but some people like me for instance like to rent a unit to use to store extra items that we don’t want to clutter up our houses with. That being said we may need to come in and sort out a box looking for an item or two that although we don’t use it often we need it than. He didn’t understand that concept and was very rude to me one time. i had worked a lot of hours that week, and was exhausted. i shouldn’t have even attempted to go and organize some of my stuff, but it was right after seeing that rat poop and i wanted to sort out my stuff in preparation for the move. i was in my car trying to muster up the energy to knock out the task and i feel asleep, I didn’t mean to of course, and he acted like I was a someone who was trying to sleep there like I did it intentionally- and he than scolded me like a naughty six year old, on and on about how you can’t live there. Yeah, like i would want to- gross. if i wasn’t in my car toasty warm (winter time.) and incredibly sleepy i wouldn’t have been able to fall asleep there. I wouldn’t talk to a customer with such a nasty tone or attitude. You would have thought he caught me breaking into a unit or destroying property, instead of not intentionally falling asleep. Granted i know that there are customers that are homeless and perhaps since they have other options sneak in for the evening, some even moving stuff in. This situation was NOTHING like that and i would think that he could have seen that. Really even if it was he shouldn’t talk that way anyway to anyone.Sooooooooo happy I moved out! i think that’s why a lot of storages want you to pay online not in person. They know three units are GROSS and there management sucks and therefore try to get your money with out you seeing what garbage pit you are renting. I don’t know if i will ever go through Public Storage ever again. ... Read more

Renting a unit online was a breeze and hassle-free. However, I ended up getting a unit that was too small. John, the helpful staff member, assisted me in transferring to a larger unit. He explained the process clearly and was incredibly friendly throughout the entire experience. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable experience. ... Read more

Mr. John was extremely kind, and went over everything where I understood all of the information. July 30, 2025. Was at public storage again today meeting with Mr. John he was still a very kind, professional, and answered absolutely ??% of all my questions. Im so impressed. At how John was still. I understand that it's his job, but on 2 completely different times about 5 or 6 months apart he was still kind. His knowledge of his job is vast. The units are clean the property is beautiful and clean. You can rest assured that you will be treated very well and he will listen to you. ... Read more

The worst storage place ever! Warning to everyone. Rodents destroyed my military gear, new house hold goods. They will not take responsibility for your damaged goods, the fraud insurance they sell is also a scam and 90%of the day you will not find customer service. I've posted several videos on all social media platforms. Orange insurance is a scam protected by Sedgewick, their online rating is a 1.9. Stay away from z public storage, orange insurance as well! ... Read more

I've had my unit for 10 years while overseas. Finally came to pick up my things. John at the desk was so helpful from the time I called asking questions to the time I arrived. He and the John that came out of his way to cut my lock helped accommodate my request. John at the desk was so friendly and made my move out less stressful. I just wanted to thank them so much for their wonderful service. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 7234 Blanco Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 7234 Blanco Road start from $22 and can go up to $206 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
