Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 23015 North Highway 281, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

This is a very clean and well run storage facility. The employees are very responsive. They reached out to me on two occasion's to let me know I had not locked my unit correctly. I was impressed that someone was walking the property regularly checking the units. When I need another storage unit I will definitely go to Public Storage first! ... Read more

Do not trust your items here!! The have bait and switch pricing, they will avoid any help and the are not responsive forcing you to spend hours trying to get help from corporate. To get through to a operator you will need to call from a different number then request sales and then have them transfer you to customer service. They will redirect you to the local manger which will put you on the same endless nightmare. This place is being run by people you don't care. If they don't care about doing right business they will certainly not care about your items. As of today there have reports of theft and multiple break ins. I agree if they don[[t trap you by monthly pricing increases they will just disappear. Apparently the cameras don't seem to work or or unable to provide criminal activity documentation. BEWARE!! I thought they were nice to, it is just a mask!!! ... Read more

Stolen items! During a recent visit to my unit, I noticed that items had been stolen out of my unit and I'm pretty sure this was an inside job. When I notified the attendant she didn't seem to care our have any sense of urgency about looking into the matter, just casually referred me to the insurance company. ... Read more

Morgana was fantastic! Call center rep I initially spoke with was horrible but Morgana went above and beyond, made us feel comfortable. She was very patient and took her time explaining everything, answering all our questions, showing us several units, etc ... Read more

Made an appointment online to see the units, was called by someone to confirm apt, and then was sent 3 reminder emails for said apt. Showed up 30 minutes early for the apt and waited 45 minutes, with the door being locked and no one there despite being within business hours. They lost my business and have no customer service, so I would recommend renting a unit from a competitor as public storage seems to not want to have new clients. ... Read more

DO NOT USE THIS STORAGE FACILITY. Several units, including ours, have been broken into since late December, and the facility staff does NOT care. We filed a police report and asked the staff to review security footage to determine when the break-in occurred. It has been 7 WEEKS, and we are STILL waiting! This facility was selected by the water mitigation company, which has also failed to respond in a timely manner. Incredible! If you value your belongings and expect basic security and customer service, STAY FAR AWAY from this place. ... Read more

The rental was easy; mostly completed through the website. I did have to call customer service to switch the storage size to a larger size. A couple of hours later a confirmation was sent with the storage number and lock. Clear instructions were sent too along with the gate code. The move out was even easier. Just empty the storage and they take care of the rest. Very clean place and friendly customer service. ... Read more

I have been renting here for about a year. Sophia has been so helpful and friendly in helping me when I need it and so quick to call me back. The space itself is very clean, easy to access, and I love that it’s climate controlled especially in this Texas heat. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 23015 North Highway 281 include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access and Multi-Level Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 23015 North Highway 281 start from $34 and can go up to $256 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
