Clearly paid-for reviews on here. This place needs help. I pay $227 for a 10 x 15 currently 07/19/2024. Their new online rates have dropped to $180 for the same unit (with an introductory rate of $116). Public Storage will not honor the decrease on my rent. I understand not giving me the promotional rate as I am existing. They would rather lose a tenant than simply honor the current rate? As a business owner myself, this policy does not make customer service sense to me. I have to move out for 7 days before I can re-rent at the "new market rate". What a pain. This location needs serious help. The actual units are not bad at all. Easy access and all that. They are in good shape. That's why 2 stars. There is no active attendant and the gate sticks open often. We will be moving from this spot to a place that has a focus on security and customer service. Buyer beware. ... Read more

I am so impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of this staff, especially Ms. Kim and Mr. Adam. I’ve been with PS for years. Whenever there could be a potential problem, finances, storms, general worry, those two always manage to be prompt and calming about every situation. Whether the problem is minute or dramatic, Ms. Kim solves it clearly and with a reassuring resolution. I am truly grateful. Thank you Ms. Kim!.. Mr. Adam, thank you for keeping things so neat and safe. It’s so good to see men like you. You’re a rock and you ROCK! Thank you two again. Sincerest regards to all you do. ... Read more

Property manager Laura is never available. Does not return phone calls and does not call when she is supposed to including during the cancellation process. Unfortunately, the best way to get a hold of the yahoo at this location is to just not call them at all and instead go through the 800 Public Storage number. The good news about going through the 800 Public Storage number is they are even less help. All they do is defer to the property manager, who once again, never answers, calls, or returns them. The good news is I have the district managers information so we’ll see if he is able to actually get the ball rolling, considering that he hired Laura I’m feeling a little disparaged about my chances. Unfortunately, even though I canceled days ago storage has sent me yet another invoice for next month which is 20 days away, which is a good indication to me that it is not canceled. I can tell you exactly why I canceled which is the fact that every three months public storage will up the cost of your unit by 25% they do this until the end of time. I did not mind paying $200 for my storage unit. In fact, I would’ve been willing to keep it for the next 10 years I would’ve also not minded if it had gone up overtime slowly, I would’ve not minded if they said it was just $250 like they did after the first three months. But in nine months time span going from $200 a month to $370 a month is quite a steep jump. I had a friend that this exact same thing happened to him. By the time he realized the auto debit had kept going up. His price was three times. The original amount costing him over $600 a month. Good business model, Public Storage. I think the Public Storage would be good if you were looking to just keep stuff there on a short term basis for no more than three months. It was convenient to get my unit and to get signed up. However, the process to cancel your unit is a nightmare. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a storage solution that you seek different companies. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 3301 West Parker Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Keyless Unit Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
