Do not use Public Storage! I can’t say this enough. This is my second location with them. Public storage took over ownership of my last storage unit location and they are horrible. They were broke into about 30 units in Arlington. The gate was left open and supposedly broke. This other location in Pantego raised their rates within 6 months. Had some strange guy yelling at us that he doesn’t work there but lives there onsite. Another worker yelled at us about not throwing trash in the trash bin. That wasn’t for customers just for them. Then they took my card off of auto pay and start to charge me a late fee every month when I had been on auto pay for 6 months prior. They said it was never on auto pay. Worst company to deal with. I don’t even believe the great reviews people are posting cause I can’t find one positive thing to say about them. If you want your rates to go up this is the place for you. If not find another storage facility. ... Read more

1 star for not having a manager ON SITE to show me where my unit is. No manager on site to answer questions. The only thing they have is an AI machine that you talk to. With all this money the corporation is saving not having an on site employee, the rates should be CHEAPER!! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 3521 West Pioneer Pkwy include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 3521 West Pioneer Pkwy start from $20 and can go up to $220 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
