This store has had me paying for storage for months - one that was broken into - yet they won’t give me a working storage unit while they continue to deduct payments. Then they call me over and over and asks me have I vacated the empty unit that is still so damaged that a new lock cannot be put on the unit. They promised to give me a new unit twice and now instead of just updating my account they keep giving me a run around about having to come in person. If I already uploaded and verified my ID online when I first reserved and a second time in person- why keep making me have to make an appointment to verify a 3rd time. They keep saying they have to call their DDistrict Manager instead of just assigning me the new unit that I have been paying for. A constant cycle of excuses & runaround. They pressure you to give a review immediately before you actually have an experience to review because they know that once they have you in the system you will NOT be taken care of. I STILL DONT UNDERSTAND HOW MY UNIT WAS BROKEN INTO AND THEY HAVE CAMERAS AND WILL NOT JUST GUVE ME THE COURTESY OF A NEW UNIT. ... Read more

Please DO NOT waste your money at this place!! The elevators are broken frequently and it will take days before they are repaired. The door leading into the building is also broken frequently. So much for security. Although the units are "climate controlled" the temperature is not comfortable, especially if you are moving lots of things. You will sweat like a woman going through menopause! I understand that the summers are hot in Texas but their competitors somehow manage to keep their units comfortable. You might as well store your things in your garage. It'll be hot, but at least you'll have access to your property when you need it. ... Read more

I do not recommend Public Storage. Lure you in with internet deals. Rented 12 x 40 in 2017 for under 300.00. Last few years they have increased every year to 666.00. Spoke to Eric and he said we could work it out to get the current special 312.00. He is no longer there and the new lady was not helpful AT ALL. Stated she could reduce the price to 539.00. Charge came through at the 666.00. I call it REVERSE DISCRIMINATION! Perhaps if I was a little more pigmented and a man she would have been more helpful!! ... Read more

I have a storage unit at the Lake Olympia Public Storage location, and Kemosi, the property manager, has been exceptional. He’s incredibly nice, attentive, and always helpful. Despite past issues with upper management, his excellent customer service has convinced me to keep my storage at this location. His professionalism makes all the difference! ... Read more

Do NOT get a storage here if you need assistance for any reason. I have called and emailed for over a week now. I am teacher and need my things for my classroom and still cannot get into my storage. I lost the original lock and they placed one of their own on the storage (even though they said they can't do that). My storage is not behind I have only had it a couple of weeks. The number for contacting a property manager goes to voicemail and they have not responded. I had to talk to someone on a computer screen the other day and even she could not get ahold of anyone. This is ridiculous. I will be moving my stuff as soon as I can access my property. Upon leaving without my items that I needed tried the virtual live help, no one answered. Also clean that office because it smells like piss.Gas is HIGH to make blank trips because they cannot handle a simple task. I need to be compensated for my gas, time and my classroom being empty because a property manager fails to do their job. ... Read more

After 3 months the rent went up 20%. Since the beginning, the electronic doors for the climate control building have not worked and are often times left open affecting the humidity levels in the building. 6months later the doors are still broken. The air conditioning doesn't work, was told it hasn't worked for a week. The security cameras don't work, the exterior lighting doesn't work it's very dark outside, and the gate remains open at times. I have emailed the district manager and I'm waiting for a response. Don't rent here without asking if these items have been fixed. Doors have been like this for at least 3 months and they still increase your rent . ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 7210 Highway 6 include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 525 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 7210 Highway 6 start from $22 and can go up to $337 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
