After new management has taken over I have had my unit broken into. Then the rent has gone up by 80%. This is the third month of trying to cancel with them with no reply to email or messages. I am having to dispute the charges and would like someone to reach out to me. ... Read more

Update to Update: After speaking with Sean and providing him with my concerns including photos of the issues at hand. He was very helpful and assured me that they had resolutions in the works. He was very helpful and attentive in listening to my concerns and was able to win me back as a customer if I have storage needs in the future. Update: The gate code never worked, the gates have been broken and left open since moving in the unit, there are mice in the units and even though I’m paying for a climate controlled unit the thermometers always read 90-100 degrees. When I scheduled my upcoming move out they only said I’m sorry to hear that about every issue. Moving out first week of the month but there is no pro rate must pay full month and I have to call back once I’m out to remove the auto pay. Samm was very helpful in getting the unit I needed. ... Store front doesn’t keep hours No one answers phone Finally figured I would use the online portal on their website. Still couldn’t actually get in despite my card being charged. Finally got in touch with someone through their Facebook page and got access Went to locker and it was full of spiders. Spider web had a small snake dead in it, so these spiders weren’t messing around. Called and cancelled at that point. Explained reason and they said “Okay”. No offer for refund. Not a fan. Maybe they are better if you know them personally as some seem to. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at KO Storage - 8910 Farm to Market 307 include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by KO Storage - 8910 Farm to Market 307 start from $57 and can go up to $239 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
