Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 4700 Stacy Road, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I love that you have the option now to access your unit 24 hours a day. I was having trouble getting by there during the day or even before 9 PM sometimes & our apartment is so small that I would bet over half of our things are in that storage unit, so I’m in and out a lot. The on-site manager is so friendly and always asks me if I need anything. Last week, I ran out the door with the lock to my unit thrown into the bottom of my purse, and when they noticed it, they put a combination lock on it, called me to let me knowand all I had to do was call an automated number and get the code text to me and give them their lock back when I came up there, but they did make sure my things were secure. Glad we decided to store our things there! ... Read more

I had some questions about pricing, and Nesha was very helpful. She took the time to go over all my options and answered all my questions clearly. She went above and beyond by checking prices for other available units to see if I could get a better rate. Nesha is awesome, and I had a great experience with her customer service. ... Read more

Sherika and Robert helped save my day and basically my life! I started choking on a jolly rancher in the office, Robert flung a roll of tape at my neck, however the jolly rancher was still stuck. Fortunately, Sherika and her quick thinking. Jumped from the top of the and counter, landing the perfect stone cold stunner on me and then I could finally breathe again . I highly recommend. ... Buckle up kids. It’s story time! I Got there and my code didn’t work. I double checked my app and my emails. My code was correct as well as the move in date but it said it wouldn’t be active until move in date (which was today) There was no one working on site and the property manager was proving tough to get ahold of. We had to contact Customer support on the app and finally we get in the gate. Not a big deal. Just a little mishap. It happens. Our unit was inside and climate controlled. I go up to the door and was instructed to put in my code. My Code again, didn’t work. I had to get back with Customer support and they got my code working to get into the building. Again, same code. Took me a 45 minutes just to get into the building. Frustrating, but it happens. Honest mistake. Property manager still not answering and I’m assuming we won’t be hearing from them till next time they are working a shift. My GF’s dad and myself moved the dresser upstairs to where the storage unit was. I had the instructions pulled up for what we do when we get to our unit. We get to it and instead of the plastic that we are supposed to break, it is locked. It isn’t prepped for us, there’s nothing we can do to get in. We have the dresser already up there with no place to put it. We contact Customer support once again. We went around in circles over and over explaining that we had no way to get into the unit. They finally decided to send us to a different “prepared” unit. We asked the person on the phone if it was properly prepared and she said “Yes.”. I fill out the paperwork online, I pay, she promised a refund for the other unit. We ask her to stay on the line to make sure we can get into it. She weaseled her way into hanging up and basically left us on the phone. At this point, we pick up our jaws off the floor when she hung up. They asked for a survey. They best hope we decide not to. We went to the complete other side of the building and it’s the exact same story. It’s locked. No way to get into it. At this point, we have been there for 2 hours. What we resorted to was finding another unit that actually was prepared properly, broke the plastic, and put our stuff in it as if it was ours. Locked it, took the keys with me, when the property manager calls me, I’ll explain the whole thing (but only if I actually get a call). By the time we got done making several trips from the car, it was a solid 2 1/2 hours that we spend there that should have been MAYBE 30 minutes and we basically had to take matters into our own hands and take a unit that wasn’t ours. I’m not sure who shit the bed on this one, but this was a little unreal. It was a pleasure writing this review. ... Read more

Unfortunately, being a loyal customer for years doesn’t mean anything. I began renting a unit here in 2020 that I am now being charged triple the market rate that’s shown online for a small 5x10 space. Last year I requested a rent reduction for loyal customers and was honored 6 months. I made another request this year, current property manager advised request are now only approved for 3 months and I was denied for a second request. Very disappointing, paying over $100.00 for a marketed $28.00 space. This company does not believe in loyalty and customer retention. They lock you in, raise the rent, and make resolution impossible. I will be sure to vacate my space after 5 years of rent increases. ... Read more

I've used this Public Storage location a few times over the years and would highly recommend renting a storage unit with them if you're in need of one. It's in a great location right off the highway and the facility itself is clean & neat. Also, the staff is always professional, kind and friendly. I can't remember the names of the man and woman who assisted me and my sister last month, but they were very helpful. We ended up needing a larger unit due to the one we reserved being too small for all of the items we had. They got us switched to a larger unit and we got a deal on the unit as well. They even made sure it was in an area fairly close to the elevators so we wouldn't have to walk too far as we were moving things from the truck to the storage. Will definitely continue to use them in the future if needed. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 4700 Stacy Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Keyless Unit Access, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 4700 Stacy Road start from $15 and can go up to $350 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
