DON'T, DON'T, DON'T, DON'T, DON'T rent here. Firstly, they jacked my rent WAY up from the first month. Secondly, their security system is severely outdated; however, it's set up perfectly for my expirence, I'm about to reference. Thirdly, they're horrible thives. I paid a month via an auto pay, as established from day one. Then they decided I missed a month. I sent them proof, and it went into insane mode. They pushed and pushed that I never paid, despite proof, blaming Visa. I pushed back, and it turned into a sale of my unit. So, I paid for said month again. It was an obvious scam, but I wasn't about to lose my things. Then they cut my lock, STOLE 3 saddles, an antique desk, an antique sewing machine, a tote of Precious Moments, along with other items. Then they put their own "lock" on my unit and very passive-aggressively stated that's why they require their tenants to have insurance. It's a scam. A well-oiled stealing and scamming machine. I've filed a police report, a 1044 for the money (value) stolen, and I'll continue posting everywhere. Run away....far away! Horrible people! Oh, and if you'd like, check out the outdated security systems. That's all you'll need to see. The one saddle is my grandfather's 1971 roping saddle. It's worth nothing, except to me. Idiots. Photo shown is 1 of 3 stolen saddles that the manager took. ... Read more

My mother-in-law's beautiful, motorhome got stolen right off the property. No camera footage or anything. I would definitely not store my things here. If I had stuff here I would move it. You pay for people to keep things safe and boom...just like that someone drove out the gate with her motorhome. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Guardian Self Storage - 8721 19th Street include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera and Gate. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
