DO NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THIS LOCATION! Misrepresented the unit and enticed with low price. When my boss went to upgrade to a much larger unit we waited for almost an hour before we left. Customer service is terrible 1000% DONT RECOMMEND. I canceled my order within an hour of getting it and they want us to pay 30 times more than we did to rent it. Horrible scam ... Read more

I recently experienced a theft from my storage unit. Shockingly, there's no camera in the aisle where my unit is—the only aisle without one, and the managers have known about this for a while. Despite three thefts in two months, management has done nothing. I expected better security and responsiveness. They only shared the data for one day to the police department. ... Read more

They don't give much grace on late payments. Your unit will be in lien before becoming 30 days past due and at auction by 30 days. So unless you WILL be on time EVERYTIME I wouldn't recommend this location. The rental process is simple and easy since they offer a contactless option. Location is ALWAYS clean and gate ALWAYS functioning. ... Read more

Who says they have 24 hours service? Not FM 646. They raised the rent $130 overnight. There is a brand new facility around the corner called Grand Toy Storage. 12 x 35 for $250. They are brand new with 25 hour access and their lights inside the unit work. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 502 Farm To Market Road 646 West include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 502 Farm To Market Road 646 West start from $33 and can go up to $316 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
