Revised: I received a call from the management of this facility. They made an effort to make things right. This place is a little expensive, but they have a good staff. The place is clean and safe. They want to do a good job which is awesome. Original I don’t have a huge issue with the facility. I’ve just had a lot of little issues over the years. My door on the unit has jammed since the first day. After a year of dealing with the door jam I complained and they changed the latch, but the door still doesn’t close properly. It’s expensive. I pay 2,550 a year for a 10x10 no temperature control. You can’t enter the gate after 10:00 pm. I was locked inside the gate once. I couldn’t get the gate to open with my code. I called the 1800 number. I couldn’t get anyone to answer. Eventually someone did answer, but they could do nothing to help me. I eventually climbed over the gate and was able to open the gate from the other side which makes no sense. Now they make you have the app to enter or exit, because you can’t do anything nowadays without having to download an app. It will get so hot in the unit that plastic will melt. I’m paying 2,550 a year for a metal box. It should be easy to get to it whenever I need to get to it. ... Read more

We rented a storage unit today and had an exceptional experience thanks to the manager, Donna. She truly went above and beyond to assist us, especially as returning customers who had a less-than-ideal experience at another facility. Donna is a perfect example of how one person can make a significant impact on a company. Well done, Donna! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 141 Maple Leaf Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 600 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 141 Maple Leaf Street start from $32 and can go up to $332 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
