Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage Phase II at 15616 Stewart Road, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Katrina is an absolute superstar. I walked in right as she was locking the doors to head out for her lunch break, and instead of turning me away (even though I offered to comeback after lunch), she decided to unlock the doors to help me. Thanks to her, I was able to secure the very last unit I was looking. She was friendly, patient, and genuinely committed to making sure I had everything I needed. The whole process was seamless, convenient, and quick. 5 stars for Katrina, 5 stars for Public Storage for good hiring judgement. ... Read more

I would have given this facility five stars before the new ownership took over a few months ago. After storing our belongings here for several years, we moved overseas and emptied our unit. During that time, Public Storage changed the billing terms, modified the rental agreement, and added new elevator restrictions—all at the customer’s expense. The biggest issue was the new billing policy. Because our international shipping date couldn’t be moved earlier than the 3rd of the month, we needed the unit for only a few extra days. Under the new agreement, that meant paying for an entire month’s rent. We gave them a month’s notice, and their response was essentially, “There’s nothing we can do.” Charging customers for a full month because they need a unit for a day or two into the next month is a blatant cash grab. The new elevator security system was just as frustrating. Our unit was on the second floor, and every single elevator trip required entering an eight-digit access code. While professional movers were clearing out the unit, we had to enter that code over and over again, wasting time and slowing the entire move. I asked if it could be temporarily overridden while we were moving out and was told no. I understand reasonable security measures, but this one creates unnecessary hassle for paying customers. Unless first-floor tenants breaking into second-floor units was a widespread problem, this solution makes little sense. The property already has cameras everywhere. All this new system accomplishes is making second-floor customers work harder every time they use the elevator. ... Read more

Melinda has been so helpful! I had to unexpectedly rent a storage unit due to a death in the family and she made the process super smooth. She has checked in with us, showed us the unit & best way to access it. I appreciate her so much for making it easy for me. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage Phase II - 15616 Stewart Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Parking, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
