Read some helpful reviews of Pro Storage at 1300 East Rusk Street, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

The staff at Pro Storage are awesome, definitely 5-star! I was impressed that Jim remembered my name when I moved into the unit almost 6-months ago. He and Jessica are both so nice and accommodating every time I need something or have a question. The building is super clean, conveniently located, great access and climate controlled. My biggest complaint and reason for only giving 3-stars is the lighting in the units is terrible. In fact there is no lights in the units just motion detector lights in the long hallways that come on as you walk by. It is almost impossible to do any task work in the unit, even with a flashlight. I moved on the fly and have a ton of boxes to sort through but I am unable to see the labels I meticulously organized. With this said, due to the location of the facility, cleanliness, climate controlled units and great staff, I will begrudgingly keep my unit for a while longer as moving elsewhere is too difficult. This place is massive, I mean football field massive, with a lot of empty units and if they could correct the lighting, it would be an awesome place to use as an indoor monthly flea market! Now that would be a big plus for little ole Jacksonville! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Pro Storage - 1300 East Rusk Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 750 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Pro Storage - 1300 East Rusk Street start from $49 and can go up to $315 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
