Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 1212 East Airport Fwy, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Be careful if you rent with 24-hour access in the alley next to the Nissan dealer; there are no security cameras Three weeks ago, all my tools were stolen from my C-101 unit. The estimated amount was almost 4k. The manager told me there's nothing they can do about it because I'm not paying insurance. I know it was my fault for not adding insurance. I'm just letting you know so no one else suffers a loss like mine. There a list of my stolen stuff. ... Read more

I'm a long term P S renter andI have personally been at this property in Irving for over 10 years. Over the last two years the manager and staff became ghosts, unhelpful to the point of my nearly breaking my leases with Public Storage altogether. Then there was an emergency roof flooding incident that caused water damage to a number of units and renter's personal stored goods. This negligence has hopefully lead to the termination of the "manager" whose lack of staff or personal presence I submit as direct negligence and dereliction of their duty and responsibility as the one keeping watch over the storage of our precious personal life's cargo. The lack of care I personally received from the manager prior to the water damage event was and is a spit in the face of a customer of over 15 years who has trusted in and more importantly PAID CONSISTENTLY FOR the Public Storage brand and the promises and expectations tied to that brand. I have relied on your facilities to hold my life's personal collections, memories, personal affects, meaningful history for me that I relied to their care. That should matter. It matters to me and to other customers I can promise to you. If this was the end of the story then you would have only two stars but fortunately it's not. Since the water damage event a new manager named Latricia has been honest about the event willing to take responsibility for the issue and that general manager is why you now have four stars where you only deserved to for the last year and a half's worth of treatment from the previous manager who should never be allowed to be in charge of anybody else's Goods ever again. Patricia is the perfect replacement she's everything that the other was not I never even met the other one face to face because of the lack of care and responsibility that she was willing to take and even being here I saw staff on maybe two occasions out of 6 months of the last year and a half and prior to that i wasn't necessarily here as often as I had been prior to but I saw the decline steady and consistent. Whomever the general manager is should be very aware that while Latricia is a godsend i hold them responsible for the previous manager's Behavior I also hold them responsible for their replacement which is the only reason again why I have not moved my unit and discarded my relationship with public storage in general. The general manager needs to be very aware that they almost lost a customer who spent thousands and thousands of dollars over the last 15 years on multiple units at multiple locations. Not only my own but I have talked to other people who never saw the staff was getting tired of it and the fact that the water damage event not only happened but took as long to assess and his long to address as it did is directly responsible to the negligence of the previous manager. As far as I'm concerned the only thing that was done right in the last two years is hiring with Tricia to take care of it and she's got a heavy load ahead of her but she seems very well up to the task. It's not that much to ask that management be available and accessible considering the fact that my premiums go up on a regular basis regardless of how long I've been with you as a matter of fact the longer I'm with you the more it costs it's best for me to terminate our relationship and then restart it it makes more sense from my standpoint to actually move my stuff and save $100 a month on the exact same size unit which is ridiculous to me because that means that the people that are with you longest are treated worse for that loyalty to you but I digress. Whomever the manager is over this region kiss latricia's toes because she's the only thing that's saving you here. Latricia is the only saving grace. Latricia I hope you know how appreciated you are by the by the customers here. Thank you for working hard cleaning up someone else's mess. Patricia raised the score by two stars from me all by herself. GM - thank Latricia for any lack of legal action on my personal part, seriously. Update - manager changed again. Not great ... Read more

Customer service is trash. I let it slide the first time but don’t have employees sit there and try to “mug” you because she Thought you had an attitude. When I asked a simple question, do you take Apple Pay. She said I don’t know. Mmm ok, do you or do you not. Guess she thought I was being funny because then she could stare me down or whatever she thought she was doing ... Read more

What is going on?! There was a young lady and all of her stuff is gone all of sudden. Make it make sense. I don’t know is in charge of customer service. They need to do better. There is no need for attitude. Then They changed her lock without her acknowledgment. Please do better & treat your customers great. Where are the cameras? I hope this lady gets the help she needs. ... Read more

If you value your belongings DO NOT RENT A STORAGE UNIT HERE!!! DO NOT RENT A STORAGE UNIT HERE!! Items will be “stolen” The worst girl works at the office! Rude and terrible!! She Will have no knowledge on why locks are changed and will cuss at you! Sounds like targeted storage unit stealing! No way a storage unit is broken into and they will put another lock on it?? No notification or anything!! Staff needs to be looked into!! Definitely something else going on!! ... Read more

If I could give no stars I would. Word of advice, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVERYTHING... I'm sorry if you don't like your job or if you are having a bad day keep in mind I did nothing to you so take your rude and snide comments in your head. She was so in a hurry to close that she was absolutely no help. I even tried to let her know that there was a water leak going into 2 other units and she said "We know" in a down and condescending tone. Which at that point I was done. Not worth your time go elsewhere and get real help and real customer service. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 1212 East Airport Fwy include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Keyless Unit Access, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 1212 East Airport Fwy start from $31 and can go up to $187 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
