Storage, you got it! I’ve had my unit here for a couple of years and can say that the service and ease of location make it worthwhile to have when you have a lot of seasonal decorations like I do. Servicing wise, Sonia would always be attentive and helpful. A drawback is the increase in price, while it’s likely competitive and I hopefully I have a decent pricing, it’s an adjustment the unit are the same and aware that regular maintenance and costs increase over time. ... After 14 years of having my things in storage (long story) - part of the experience was interacting with Sonia Rosales, the storage facility manager. I've been a customer since *before* MyGarage/Marcus & Millichap/LeClaire Schlosser Group became the new owner. So there's history there, as you can imagine. Unfortunately, trying to be nice, it's cost me. From the standpoint of the storage facility itself, from rain storms to hurricanes to tornadoes, my belongings are still somewhat in tact. It freaked me out when Sonia, my friend Sarah, and I found a dead rat in my unit. When you've worked hard and acquired expensive things, the last thing that you want is to have to contend with damaged items. The 15450 Lee Rd location in Humble TX held up to the various Acts of God that occurred through the years, but not the rodents. Addendum: Due to the recent events brought on by the bullying of Sonia Rosales that occurred before and since last Tuesday November 26th 2024 - prior to Thanksgiving Day, I'm not willing to pretend any longer that I haven't felt pressured - off and on through the last 14 years by her while my things were stored at the MyGarage Storage Humble location. To further bully me, at 3:06 PM today, December 3rd, although I don't have anything stored at MyGarage Storage Humble, acting as a money monger without any regard to having a good ending relationship with me (I moved out everything out of the storage facility on November 26th 2024), Sonia Rosales sent me a bill today as if I still have anything I own stored in my former storage unit, #2073. Beware! The bullying has suddenly gotten worse due to me calling Ms. Rosales out on her behavior; she seriously upset me when she chose to expose me to my family members, that I choose to be estranged from, when I told her years ago that I want to avoid people who have been unkind. Regardless of that fact, Sonia Rosales chose to "out" me when I was at MyGarage Humble, when they were also there too, but they didn't recognize me. Thus, she overstepped my personal boundaries intentionally. When you choose to avoid people because they cause you to feel traumatized, the last thing that you want is any type of relationship with them. Ms. Rosales thought my traumatization by these people was funny. She chuckled under her breath when one of them was snooty towards me. I was appalled that Ms. Rosales would insert herself into my personal life like she did. We're not friends. Since 2000, I have owned 3 different trained Service Dogs due to the diagnosis of Anxiety Disorder and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. If you know anything about these things, it's fight or flight for people like me. I'm not into fighting with people because it's futile. I choose to say absolutely nothing or to simply walk away. It's a shame that there are still people who are insensitive to others unsolicited frailties. However, Ms. Rosales decided to jeopardize my mental health - knowing my mental health background that I obviously make no secret of. And not only that, due to stress, what she did to me practically ruined my 2024 Thanksgiving. She apparently has no regard for that fact and the fact that I am one of MILLIONS of people on the planet who have the same diagnosis. In today's world, due to so much negativity, hundreds of millions of people suffer with various mental health disabilities. Chances are that you - the person who is reading this review, might also struggle from a trauma-based history or have a loved one who does. Mental health is equally important as physical health. If I had stage 4 cancer or some type of extreme heart disease, I wonder if Ms. Rosales would think that's funny. People who attempt to deligitimize the suffering of others shouldn't be in management. I'm glad that I have text message proof re: my recent communication exchange with Ms. Rosales. Being disabled, I told her she should be ashamed of herself. She finally offered to help me remove boxes and sweep out the storage unit. I left some things in a box but, being meanspirited, she will probably throw them away. ... Read more

A huge THANK YOU to Sonya at My Garage Self Storage on Lees Rd. In Humble,Tx. Sonya you saved the day!! Sonya was so kind to us. Our truck broke down as we were pulling our RV. My Garage was literally 4 blocks from the exit we took when our truck broke down. Sonya was so polite and professional in assisting us with the perfect spot to park the RV while we waited for Roadside Assistance. Sonya had a smile the whole time and cold water was helpful too! The office is nice, clean and air conditioned. The process for leasing paperwork was quick and detailed and we are not stressed at all! The rate was phenomenal as they offer pro rate(s). Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Curio Storage - 15450 Lee Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Curio Storage - 15450 Lee Road start from $29 and can go up to $349 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
