Horrible experience renting from these people. Never anybody on staff in the office to help out . Today I arrived hoping to put some stuff in my unit and could not have imagined that I would not have access to the unit. Waited for over an hour after calling customer service twice and being promised someone would show up. No one ever showed up. There were at least 6 other customers who came and went trying to access the unit. It appears the door is broken and cannot be opened at all with any code - everyone who came and went tried their code and no one could open the door. Stay far away from this place. Now I'm just hoping I'll actually be able to get my stuff out before transferring to another unit. ... Read more

There has been 3 break-ins within the last 3 months at this location that I know about. Each time over 15 units affected. I received a call 3 days ago that my unit was broken into. I came on 3/5/25 at 4:00pm and today 3/6/25 at 5pm and the office is locked with no one here to assist me even though the business hours listed are from 6am to 6pm. I can't even get into my unit to see what is missing because they put another lock on it. When reaching out to the customer service number, I selected the option to speak with a property manager but I can always only leave a voicemail. No one from the company is ever at this location. Don't rent here. Reaching out to my attorney for further options. ... Read more

This review is for and only about an employee named Angie at this location. Without going into detail, Angie was so very helpful to us in a time of need. She even provided her mobile number so we could advise her of our arrival, as she was actually working at a different location within her district. She went over and above in her assistance and we are so grateful. ... Read more

Just reorganized/consolidated my storage units. Angie was extremely helpful. Angie went above and beyond my expectations. She volunteered conscientious & constructive suggestions that would work with my budget. I can not express how thoughtful and professional she is! My wallet thanks you, but most importantly, my husband thanks you! Thank you! Angie you are AMAZING! ... Read more

I reserved here for the first time and had been having the worst day and Angie went beyond to answer my questions regarding what to expect and also gave personal recommendations for other things. To have someone actually care about you as a person is a valuable trait. She was much appreciated. I would definitely recommend this location.. the prices are also the best in the area. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 2303 West Loop South include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 2303 West Loop South start from $77 and can go up to $357 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
